Thanks Buddy for keeping us current!  I will try again to join the
user group,/capcha problems prevented me earlier,/initial info sounds
pretty good.  If Icom protecals and plugs are used in this, as seems
indicated, a qsyer should work with it,  if memory serves, a standard
eighth inch plug on both ends,/don't remember whether stereo or mono,
is what is used for 706&703radios, and I imagine for 718/which seems
to be the preferred icom command model for the x1M radio.
I had a 718 although don't remember the interface plug.  This will be
a very interesting, at least to me, ride; and I'd like to thank you
Buddy, for all your help along both these, and many other lines!
