5 degrees outside and a foot of snow on the ground...cry out for hot soup. Threw some chicken legs (straight from the freezer) and large can of plum tomatoes and all sorts of chunked fresh veggies and splash of Worchestershire sauce and lots of herbs and spices in a pot of water and let simmer for a couple of hrs. Just added canned beans, string beans, corn niblets and more tomato sauce to thicken. It smells heavenly. Have to have a dense chunk of bread or French bread, gluten-free, of course. Schars makes a really good gf whole grain ciabatta roll that will work. Or gf crackers.
