looking at the tone list Buddy did it only goes as high as 105 Having said that I can enter 162 on
my Wouxun KGUV6D and the radio does not complain. now 62 is listed as D364N I wonder if the
software needs to see the alphanumerics?

Subject: Digital Coded Squelch on Woxun

I just got a new Wouxun KGUV1 and am programming it with the
Linux owx software and things are mostly great.

The question is how do you enter the digital squelch
values? the software documentation says the format is XXX.Y as
in 107.2 and that does seem to work for the analog tones. There
are some public service frequencies around here that use DCS and
I obviously don't have those set correctly as there is a birdy
on one frequency that would not be audible if the DCS was
working. It is supposed to be DCS Tone 162 so I entered it as
162.0. This should silence the birdy but the squelch opens any
time it is here.

If you dump the radio to a CSV table, the value shows up
as 162.0, but it has no effect.

Thanks.

Martin
