Reminds me of a time long long ago when I was part of a
spontaneous field day group that met in a park in Pleasant Hill
Ca. We called ourselves the Pleasant Hill Amateur Radio
Transmitting Society or, PHARTS for short. Had a lot of fun and
were using an Atlas 210 solid state rig with a braille dial that
you could order for the rig. That was back in hmmh, maybe 1976.

Just call it the Fund for Accessible Radio Transceivers (FART).

Actually, I think it=92s a fabulous idea. It means I have to
justify =
fewer radio purchases to melanie. Speaking of which, I=92d
better get =
cracking on the guide for the Puxing PX-UV973. Anyway, I guess
this =
makes Colin the Old FART, or the Head FART, or at least the FART
=
Administrator. I like it.=20

We should pool our pennies and get one and make Tom be the

But, maybe if someone gives us a report that shows this HT
