Good evening, R j. My name is Doug. My ham call is N6NFF and I live in
Sacramento, California. I'm a total and I operate a Kenwood t m v 71 a. It
is a very usable radio for the blind because it has a speech chip. Others on
this list have other radios they use which are user friendly for the blind.
Welcome to the list and good luck when you take your test. 73. Doug Emerson,
N6NFF

Subject: Introduction and a question
My name is RJ Sandefur, and I live in Florida. I'm studying for my tech =
license with Gorden West. A friend gave me some of his stuff, and I find =
it helpfull. My question is, What type of radio should I get as a =
totally blind person? Is the bowfang or the kinwood any good? RJ
