I was married to a sighted person for fourteen years. I am now married to a
blind person so have had it both ways. The blindness really seldom becomes an
issue although having eyes around the house would make things easier sometimes.
However, when I married Dee I was aware of what I was doing from having had a
sighted wife in the past.

I had always said that I would never marry a blind person but the past seven
years that Dee and I have been married are something that I would never trade
and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to marry a blind pouse all other
things being equal.

Tom
