I got my new Icom sm-50 desk mike today.
I plugged it up to the 706 and it worked well.
I have determined that the old sm-20 just went bad on me.
The new sm-50 works in the rear mike jack just great.
I just someone to get on hf with me to see how the new mike sounds.
