This is from a long time friend from my college days, Larry, who just
passed his test, and got his old call, WB5EIN, back after a 20 year
absence from the hobby.
He and I sat up many a night doing exactly what he is doing tonight,
having fun on the radio.

Subject: 40 m CW DX tonight
Man, this TS-480 is roarin' hot tonight....just look at the good DX
I've nabbed tonight on 40m CW...and I'm not finished!
This sitting at my desk in the office/den SURELY beats going out into
the garage and reaching across the bikes to send CW. Ha!
CE2AWW Chile
OE3GSA Austria
HA8RM Hungary
EA3RCY Spain
VE9AAG New Brunswick, Canada
CO3RA Cuba
CT7AGZ Portugal (could barely hear him)...he was 449 at best
CO6RD Cuba
OP5K near Antwerp, Belgium
I1MMR Genoa, Italy
PY7ZZ Brazil
Oh, by the way, all of these were in the Extra portion except for the
Italian station. Man, oh man, what I've been missing all these
years!!
So, if you have nothing better to do, come on down/up to 40m CW and
catch some of this stuff. And, I'll bet 80 and 160 are fine, too. I
know the PT0S station is racking up QSOs on 160.
(P.S. Is this boy having fun, or what????)
