Our radio club had an old, W W II generator.  Rated at 10k, could 
have done three times that.  Six cylinder Continental engine, awful 
"mileage" but it ran and ran.  It was at a tornado and ran for two 
weeks straight.  Outlived most of the newer generators.
We finally ditched it; needed carbeurator work and no one could find 
the parts/replacement.  But what a workhorse.
