Hi Colin, not sure about the tweeter design. They don't have preamp
volumes, just two volume controls, one for line and one for mic. well,
having said that, they must have pre-amp controls because you can plug a
mic directly in and use one volume control for that, and the other for the
line in. Yah, check out the spec's if you can. 73, Jim

ah excellent.
The more you tell me about these, the more I understand they are more of a
multi-purpose powered cab, with attension to music play back...thus the RCA
inputs.
A rule of thumb with most powered cabs is to set the main output volume
control at half and leave it there.
If there are built in pre amp gain controls, stick those at about half as
well to minimize distortion and keep the noise to a minimum.
Judging by the k10 model number they are 10 inch drivers? with perhaps a 1
inch tweeter? are they a horn tweeter design or a flat dome type tweeter? or
perhaps even a piezo tweeter?
I'll go check them out online and get all the goods.
