I didn't see a menu choice for it.
My voice is set to english, so I would guess that when it gets low, it'll
tell you

well, it's not just on and off, there is english, and chinese, and off.
And in the newest versions of the UV5R there is french and german as well I
believe.
But yes, the "low voltage" voice alert is part of the voice package if you
will.
