Tom,

It sounds like your G5 is, at least, working to a point that you will be 
able to operate from your RV now.

Glad you got that working.  This antenna should be more convenient than the 
screwdriver that you used to use since the park management will let you put 
it up.

Does your G5 not work on 12 or 17 meters?  You didn't mention those two 
bands when you mentioned where it will tune.
