Hello, everyone.

I am writing this e-mail from my son's house in very wet St. Charles,
Missouri.

Hopefully, many of you are having better weather than we are down here at
the current time.

Anyway, I was wondering what the thoughts of the group were about trying to
resume our 40-meter east coast mid west round table next Saturday: September
8 at the usual time of 2000Z on or near 7.191 MHZ.

Next week-end, I hope to be out at the RV, and would love to know how my
low-hanging G5RV works from out there. I have ordered 50 feet of RG8X from
Universal Radio to help with the tuning process, and should have that in
line by that time.

I don't think it would be wise for me to commit to running the round table
just yet, because I'm simply not sure how well I'll do from the RV, but if
someone is willing to take the helm, I'm willing to try to get in there at
least as a participant.

I talked to Kris (WB9SLM) yesterday morning on a local 2-meter repeater
system in Southwest Illinois on our way to Missouri, and she seemed in favor
of the idea.

Let me know your thoughts throughout the coming week, and we'll go with the
will of the group as appropriate.
