Have any of you experience with the Yaesu FT301 antenna tuner? I
re-discovered one on a ham shack shelf which was given to me a number
of years ago. I googled a bit and believe that is the tuner I
have. I will catch up to some eyeballs in the next few days and verify it!!
It appears that it will tune any of three coax antennaes and a long
wire. There is a power input and I may even be able to find the
adapter! Two knobs which probably control tuning caps., and an
eleven position, probably band switch. Three rows of three in a row
and four in a row pushbuttons and a small pot which probably controls
an onboard SWR meter. There is a five screw strip on the back, four
SO239 coax connnectors, what is likely a ground connection and a feed
through insulator which is probably for the long wire.
If this tuner is reasonably accessible it is probably a great
addition to the operating behch.
Have I triggered any memories?
Thanks.
