It's probably the capacitors going in it, that happens after a while and 
they're easy to replace only held to the board with a couple screws. Parts 
can still be gotten. I know a few who've had that problem. If you decide to 
get a new one, probably another of the same thing is your best bet or going 
up on the amperage though I used to run all that and then some off mine and 
it never complained. If you get to the point you just don't want to deal 
with it and do want to buy something else, Let me know, if my front steps 
don't cost too much I'll buy it off you and fix it up for a backup.
