The Gluten Free Consumer, is delivered monthly. In each issue, you will find gluten free recipes that can easily be made in your home kitchen. Delicious recipes ranging from whole Thanksgiving dinners to simple baking snacks like muffins. Other treats found in every issue includes coupons for gluten free products and stories from others living a gluten free lifestyle.

Living a gluten free lifestyle can be both challenging and time consuming in trying to find food that is both tasty and reasonably priced. The Gluten Free Consumer is here to take the guessing out of shopping. The Gluten Free Consumer has a team that is constantly testing gluten free products to help you find the best products on the market at the best prices. 
   
The Gluten Free Consumer is a monthly magazine produced for those living a gluten free lifestyle or has food intolerance. The idea of the magazine came one day while Rodney and Chaton Fife were shopping. Chaton had previously been diagnosed with Celiac Disease. 

Wanting to try new foods, but scared to pay such a high price just to try a new product, made Chaton leery of purchasing new products. Looking for resources to help her with product reviews, she couldn’t find one. After much time and frustration, she decided to create The Gluten Free Consumer, a review magazine to help others living a gluten free diet. Helping others create a wholesome relationship with the food they eat. 

We are a review magazine. Our review process is simple. A hopeful manufacturer sends us their product. If needed, we cook it up in our test kitchen. If it is an ingredient, we use it in several of our trusted recipes. Our review team then tries the product.       

 Our review team consists of individuals with Celiac Disease, those with gluten intolerance, and a few of our staff that do not need to eat gluten free. We test the product for taste and overall quality using the grading rubric shown above. Products with favorable grades are given the option of providing our customers with a coupon or a recipe in our publication. Products with average or low grades receive our suggestions for improvements. 

There is no need to spend money on products just to see if they are good quality. With the reviews in The Gluten Free Consumer, you have a resource that will allow you to make informed decisions. By having reviews in one place for you every month, we help you save time in selecting products. This means less time wandering the grocery store, wishing for awesome gluten free products to jump out at you, (...or perhaps only we have done that!)
