Hi all: 

I need an idea for a cheap portable antenna that could get me on the air, 40/10M, tying me over until I can get the more expensive system I tested this weekend. 
We attempted to raise my tower this morning, we had discovered that the tower is severely compromised beyond a safe repair job. In affect, my tower of 10 years is done for. Not to mention that my youngest Sister wants to renovate and move into our parents basement, taking my shack for her bedroom. So I'm now pinning my hopes on my Land Lord and Lady allowing me a portable outside antenna.
