Is the hx the 200 watt version?  I'd suggest looking for the 100 watt 
radio.  No tuner required on that one and only a 20 amp supply.  You 
really won't notice the difference, 3 db is half an s unit.  BTW, where 
are you llocated, would like to try you on 80 or 160.
