I made the plunge and got a Mac. Is there a book that covers the Voice
Over and getting started on a Mac?
Otherwise I will just get the pod cast if it is a MP3 file.

"First of all: what is work?
Work is of two kinds:
first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface
relatively to other such matter;
second, telling other people to do so.
The first kind is unpleasant and ill paid; the second is pleasant and
highly paid."
From The collection of essays "In Praise of Idleness" by Bertrand Russell

Vision Australia has great information for getting started on the Mac.
The podcast page is at
http://www.visionaustralia.org/info.aspx?page=2296
The keys you think of as alt, windows, and ctrl are command, options, and
ctrl for the Mac.
to turn accessibility on, press command+F5.
Some Windows shortcuts work, only you use command instead of control:
command+p for print and command+s for save.
Once you get through the Vision Australia material, you can go through the
Voiceover manual. It's actually very helpful, but the first couple of
chapters are overwhelming, so you may want to read them in order to pick and
choose what sounds useful; then move on to the later chapters, where you get
information on using Voiceover with specific apps.
