Well, the FT-817 I had for a short time could give the frequency to the
QSY'ER, I don't know how much different  that gets info from the radio than
this hampod would and I'm never buying yaesu again more than likely so I'll
never find out but if the QSY'ER can do it, I don't see why anything else
can't though it may well take different converters or what ever else, I'd
think it's doable though for some info. By the time I can get another radio
the radios of today will be a long forgotten thing so I doubt anything will
be the same, I just hope there are radios still when that day comes.
