Subject: hampod and kx3

Just got the kx3 serial cable. Hooked up the ham pod. Great stuff. My =
k3 has temporarily lost its mind, so glad to be able to utilize nearly =
all the kx3 even though the morse interface isn't done yet.

Most of the menus read, and the only function I have found that doesn't =
work is the swr check.
This is not as devastating as it first may seem. This is a check =
without the influence of the auto tuner. You can watch the vfo a screen, =
and press the tune button and hear the swr readings as the tuner works.

Now to figure out how to get to some of the menus.
Then to figure out getting psk, rtty, and cw decoding to work and see =
how the ham pod feature for speaking whatever comes out the serial port =
works.
aint we got fun!!

Thank you rob for this versatile little box.
And thanks to elecraft for staying with their standard remote control =
interface.
