I have had celiac for ages and something just came up. I am on the road and found a pizza place in Staten Island, NY (Villa Monte) that does Still Riding Pizza... And seems to take it seriously. When the owner brought out my water in a waxy cup, he stopped himself and said he thinks there may be gluten in the wax and got me glass. I didn't bring this up. He did. Have any of you ever heard of this? I suspect it is a myth perpetrated by a misinformed customer, but I wasn't going to argue. The guy's intentions were good. Has anyone ever heard of a waxy paper cup having gluten?  He is being very accommodating. Lin
