Howard, you are right.  Menus 23 and 24 deal with  display and power for 
transverter operation.   But there is no seperate low level output like 
on the 590.

I also read somewhere that the drv out on the 590 will put out 1 
milliwat on the 136 khz experimental (or whatever it is called) LF band.
