Exactly my concern Farang. We have seen the desperation kicking in to
level of calling for military intervention. I think we need to think
hard about military operation and while it cannot be rule out, it comes
with its baggage! Would a military junta taking over be willing to
immediately hand over power to a civilian caretaker government? or
would it lead to another fake transition in the name of "sacrificing
life to safe Gambia"? These are things we don't normally think hard
about because of the obstacles to changing the status quo... but boy...
am I so worried about another military takeover...
I still think the political and or civil society disobedient has not
been fully exploited. Call me naive but we have been there.... If Kukoi
is our only solution then we are absolutely doomed...
Just my thoughts

Suntou,
I hope with all the desperation we are not encouraging a
repeat of the 1981 reckless accident. Key operational words to put
into consideration- strategy, tact, poise under pressure and fierce
determination to succeed far from Desperation. Thanks.

Mr Sanyang, Koukoi's new found fame is indicative of the desperation at
play. I am totally against Senegal extraditing Koukoi to the Gambia.
However, Koukoi cannot be the front for our struggle. With information
coming from his close comrades, it is not encouraging. However, the
lack of progress in tackling the system is reaching the apex of
madness. We will accommodate anybody, be they mad men or chancers.
Apart from Koukoi's human right issue, I am not interested in his
stories.
Thanks
Suntou

Can we set emotions aside of Kukoi issues and look at the Politics in
play here. I was going to ask Kukoi certain questions today through the
outlets he uses to rant his confused political ideology. I have said on
this forum years ago and different print media that Kukoi is Irrelevant
in the Political Discuss of The Gambia. He came back to say I should
not Judge him because I do not know him. The little I know of Kukoi is
enough for me to form an informed opinion about him. Kukoi has shown in
1981 his Depraved Indifference to Human Life. Kukoi like jammeh has a
lot to Answer to Gambian People, their actions are motivated by narrow
Tribal Interest and personal grievances. Here are two people who have
caused the Two Reckless Accidents in the political transformation of
The Gambia; since, etched in our collective memories. Here is my
questions to Kukoi:
1. How is it that kukoi can go in and out of Senegal without being
detained for what he did to the Senegalese soldiers in 1981?
2. How did he acquire Senegalese ID?
3. Is Kukoi still a Gambian?
4. If Kukoi's accomplishes paid their price to The Gambian Society for
what they did in 1981 why should he NOT pay his share of that Price?
Kukoi might not be in a position to answer these questions today,
but these deserve answers anytime he comes through his current
predicaments. I wish him well for I will like to see him answer to The
Gambia People.
There are more to politics than meets the eye.
Farang.
