Here are the results from the question: I wonder how many of us would turn to
drug therapy?
18 people would continue the gf lifestyle w/out any interest in pharmaceuticals
(of these 18, one person was concerned that the gf food market would begin to
diminish if a vaccine were to become available)
3 people were in favor of a drug therapy for their children, esp college-aged
children
4 people would like to have a drug therapy available to minimize the damage from
accidental exposure to gluten
3 people would like to have drug therapy for travel, special occasion or for
living in a nursing home/assisted living situation
5 people would like drug therapy to resume a life with gluten (including 2
people who mentioned it would need to be covered by insurance)
2 people would like drug therapy to resume a life with gluten after it's been on
the market for a significant amt of time
If I receive more I will send a second summary.
Thanks for your responses,
Linda
