ChromeBooks could be manufactured by multiple companies, such as Samsung,
Lenovo and so on. They would be running ChromeOS from Google though, but I
don't find Google to be any more or less committed to accessibility than
many other companies. I use a lot of Google products, such as Chrome,
ChromeVox, Android, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Drive and so on. I find them
all accessible enough to be usable. There are products and applications from
Apple and Microsoft that I run into that aren't accessible, so I wouldn't
rule out something from Google just because of someone els's preconception
about their commitment to accessibility. I'd get feedback from people who
are actually using ChromeBooks and base your decision on their informed
opinions.
