Linda was writing about baking her acorn squash. Might I suggest ....I have an 18 quart roaster...you know the kind they have at Wal-mart for about $30 ....I have mine sitting on my outside back porch. I bake cakes, cookies, roasts, etc in it all the time. It is a mini oven. The temperature goes up to 450 degrees which is all you need. I started using it to make the GF cream cheese pound cake first....it worked great! From then on, in The summer, that is what I use. Be sure if you get one that it has a wire rack that you can lift out. Let me know if any of you try this and have the success I have had.
