Pat I haven't thought this through all the way but I think you could use an 
auto tuner in the shack and run the coax outside and into a Ameratron 4 
position switch which switches through the coax without any other wires. 
The control would be in your shack.  I may not have thought it out enough 
but my first thoughts.  73
