Okay, I've done that, and am keeping track of that. I also like to look
through friends who I have now and see if there are other friends who I
haven't seen in years and then take it from there. If I were to friend
someone I'd first send a message reintroducing myself first as I said.

I am not sure if there is a way to go and check who you have requested as a
friend, but, I know you can go in and check who all of your friends are. If
there are people who have accepted a friend request you don't remember then
you can unfriend them.
