Hi Jeff

The term you need is "reasonable accommodation." You have the right to
request one from the entity offering the tet, from a potential employer
during recrutiment / hiring AND once you are hired.

I know that sounds simple but it's not necessarily. Start there anyway.

Subject: [VICUG-L] timed assessments when applying for jobs on line?

HI everyone, yesterday I was at my local one stop job location in town
here, and I was updating my resume with some help, and applying for
some jobs.  One one of the pages I went to after answering and filling
in the information there was a series of 60 questions, and some
involved simple math, and others involved questions that one would be
asked at an interview.  I mentioned to the person that this would be
hard with JAWS, and the timing for these questions is important as it
determines your score.  I'm just wondering if anyone has run across
this, and if so how have you managed to work with these using a screen
reader like JAWS or Window Eyes?
