Oh cool.  It sure does have some significance to you.  My uncle got his 
license in the mid-50s, but I don't think I'd want his call, just because it 
is a harder one to do on Cw.

But, now with so many calls, having a 1-by-3 like that is nice.

Thanks Steve,

My call was my grandpa's call that he got in 1955.  My grandpa
and my dad both got their calls in 1955.  Dad was 16 and has been
active with the hobby every since.  Grandpa passed away in 1986
and his call had never been re issued.
