Subject: Re: Rally for Kidnapped Nigerian Girls

Obviously the cause is of the utmost importance. Unfortunately three
days notice makes it impossible for some/maybe many to participate in
something that we all agree needs critical attention. The Boards of
AAM, AWA and all the MACON organizations, and even the ASA's of UW,
MATC and Edgewood joined together in a well planned out demonstration
would/could have made a statement heard by not only our state
legislators, but DC and the UN. It is not always easy to change
employment responsibilities and family commitments at such short
notice. We will be there is spirit - and if something else is planned
with coordination of all related organizations in the future, we will
definitely be present.

Directors encourages its entire membership to support the "Rally for
Kidnapped Nigerian Girls" taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2014
by being part of the walk to the Capitol steps. Looking at the
political development results of many countries in the past few years
is evidence of strength in numbers.  Our incessant calls for the
Nigerian leaders to ensure release of these innocent girls will be
heard. Please all come out and support. Rally information provided below
