First off, thanks everyone for the tremendous response! I'm listing
everything I got, so please forgive multiple recommendations of the same
places.

I tried PFunky Griddle which lets you make your own GF pancakes...I'm
sorry, not Pamela's batter, but I felt I was safe there. Had breakfast
there an a pork steak at The Listening Room which was way too salty and a
bit tough, but we were there near closing so must have gotten dried out.

Really, I'm a fraidy cat...I'm so sensitive and didn't want to ruin my
trip.

I got some good lunch meat from Whole Foods and that's pretty much what I
ate the 3 days we were down there. Went to "Merchant's" but when I asked
about wheat cross-contamination practices I got the 100 yard stare and some
talk about USDA standards...?? I didn't feel safe eating there so didn't.
Anyway, here's the very long list of recommendations!

Try the Listening Room on 2nd Avenue. We just returned from Nashville. Good
food and great music at the restaurant above. You can view their website.

My recommendations for GF right downtown would be Sole Mio, Margaritaville,
Merchant's, all have GF menus and can do meat and veggies. If you want to
be adventurous and go into other parts of Nashville, I'd recommend Urban
Grub in the 12 South area or "M" in the Cummins Station. Let me know if
you need any more help. I love the Ryman!

We actually have MANY reviews of GF-friendly places in the Nashville area
on our website, GlutenFreeTravelSite ( http://www.glutenfreetravelsite.com ),
which is a website containing thousands of user-submitted GF dining and
travel reviews from around the world, searchable by location.

Simply visit our Search/Mapping page (
http://glutenfreetravelsite.com/maps/map-locator.php ) and enter Nashville
into the Search Box. You'll get a list of restaurants that have been
reviewed. *Click on any restaurant to see it highlighted on the map and to
link to the user-submitted review. *

*We also have a new APP -- free and available for either iPhone or Android
-- called DINE GLUTEN FREE. It enables you to access the reviews and other
helpful information on our site when you're on-the-go. Here's a link to a
page on our site with more information: *

Taco *Mamacita* is a “Fresh-Mex” *restaurant* specializing in funky-fusion
tacos, enchilladas, Peruvian chicken, fresh made guacamole and amazing
margaritas!

Score: *20* / 30

1200 Villa Pl Nashville, TN 37212
(615) 730-8552 <%28615%29%20730-8552>

They have a GF menu. We've ate there and enjoyed it.

Villa place is not far from downtown. about 10 min.
