Pat,
That's what crying is for; to let the emotions out that have built up.
Those tears, of course, according to the Psalms are all bottled and kept by
the Lord, too. I've had 5 or 6 MRI procedures in the last few years and I
don't like them at all. When my back, 5 years ago, was giving me fits in
the lower spine, it was so screwed up, I could not lay on my back without
pain I could not endure. They sent me to a special clinic where they
sedated you so they could get you into the MRI machine. They said I fell
asleep inside during that half an hour but I didn't know it but I sure was
thankful they were able to get me doped up enough to lay on my back for a
half an hour in that tube. You are trying to carry a lot of extra spiritual
weight right now, Pat, but you need to let all of us do that heavy lifting
for you. That's what our prayers are for. I prayed for you once earlier
today because you came to mind and I knew something didn't feel right so I
stopped and prayed right away. Ask the Lord at these most difficult
emotional times to bring other intercessors worldwide to pray for you at
that moment. I guarantee you, more folks that don't know you, but do know
what intercessory Holy Spirit prayers are all about, will start praying for
you. I still do this for similar reasons myself quite frequently. Jesus
talks to the Father for us, too, as our Great Intercessor, so don't hesitate
to ask God for His intercessors to pray in your behalf and don't try riding
this experience out by yourself. We are still all hear, and praying, even
if you can't let us know.
Phil.
