Yes, I think it was Ron, I spoke to.

He was a very nice guy, and certainly took his time making sure my order was
correct.

At any rate, we'll give things a try next Saturday from the RV and see how
it goes.

do you know if you spoke with Ron?  He used to be a neighbor here and took a
job transfer to Ohio.  Long story short, he has worked for Universal for a
couple of years now and seems to enjoy it.  I have tried hard to school him
about accessibility and think I've done a decent job!  Not that RG8X is
particularly accessible or not!
On Field Day, forty meters, I had wonderful success with the Windem.  Lots
of one call and answered.  Except in to Michigan.  Must have some sort of
null in that direction.  Could work them but it wasn't as easy in other
directions.
Well, we will see how it works next Saturday.
