Hi,
I agre with you, John.
A long time ago I purchased a Lavender Brailler because I think for are kind of neat and I like old stuff like that.
Well, I bought it from someone I had known for many years.
When I purchased it I was told it was in good condition. It wasn't usable.
Later I found out that this couple didn't have a very good record.
Ask around before you buy from someone.
I you know that they tinker with things and that their equipment doesn't sound good just look for other equipment.
