Back in January, we were advised that CT Section Manager Betsey Doane k1eic
was chosen to receive the George Hart Distinguished Service Award.  Well,
today was the day! It was presented to her today by Tom Frenaye, k1ki the
New England Division Director at a local hamfest.  He gave her the plaque
and then said there was a mistake in it; so he presented another box and lo
and behold!  It was a larger plaque but in Braille! and the top is engraved
"distinguished service award". and the plaque has a picture of George Hart
on it.  Wow!  What a surprise with the braille one as well!
