Well, my G5RV has about 35 feet of ladder line running from the center 
insulator down to a 2 or 3-foot piece of coax with a PL259 that connects to 
the rig.  No balun.

It's one that I was given, but I used it mainly for 40 meters a number of 
years ago when I had the tower up here at the home QTH.
