This is the same sort of issue here in the UK.
The problem is that the warrantee won't be valid on a S purchased unit.

oh boy, that is a pretty high price...but pretty much inline with european 
electronics prices.
A TS2000S, which is the version without the 1.2GHZ module, sells for around 
1300US now...with the 1.2GHZ module, the ts2000x sells for I think 1900 or 
so.
So, ordering it from the US and paying whatever little bit of extra shipping 
there might be to get it to Sweden might be financially beneficial.
I'm not sure they are still in production, but I think so.
