Thanks Brother Cherno Fankung,
I hope the information will help us understand how much the Government can set aside to pay for the Diaspora Voting logisitics.
For I believe if at least 5 or 10 percent of the 83 Million US Dollars (minimum) we collectively remit home annually is set aside, the costs of Diaspora Enfranchisement could be covered.
The survey is for now between the State Side and Gambia. I am sure you will gradually expand it to cover remittances from other regions including our Bad Boy Bundesrepublik Deutschland (Germany).
Jarama.
Before I forget, I want to tell my Mandinka cousins that I reached a deal with the Gainakos to provide enough cattle for the next cattle ride to Madina Gounasse. There is however no insurance cover. Come with your first aid kits and paramedics. Just in case you break your bones. HAHAHAHA!
I believe you all had humorous and angry entry into the new year 2012.

Betreff: [G_L] Survey of remittances from the United States to the Gambia
A group of economists is conducting research on remittance corridors
from the United States to the Gambia. The objective is to obtain data
on how Gambians in the United States are helping in economic
development through the monies they send home. If you are a Gambian
and live in the United States, please take two to three minutes to
complete this anonymous survey. The findings will be used in order to
promote supportive and friendly policies that allow the smooth flow of
remittances to the Gambia. The findings will also enable researchers
to improve the country’s data collection for balance of payments
compilation.Thank you for your support.
