Subject: [VICUG-L] AVG Installation Software Seems Inaccessible

Friends,

Recently I got an update to AVG and discovered it seemed to be in
graphics, but I went ahead and installed. I found that I had
accidentally added a trial version of Internet Security to my free
software. Now that version has expired and it seems the whole package
is probably not working, so I tried to uninstall, first at the control
panel and then by getting new installation software. But everything is
still in graphics and I cannot even begin to uninstall, let alone
install the version I want. I believe I will now need sighted
assistance, and if that is true I will certainly want to find alternate
anti-virus software. Any opinions? Additions? Suggestions?

Thanks,

Ilene
