Hi,

While I've never used it, it's based on a gimmick. That is, giving each letter a phrase that roughly approximates the rhythm of the letter being sent, along with a visual cue to remind one of the phrase. It strikes me that this is an awful lot of translations for your brain to make. While it may be initially more difficult to learn a direct rhythm to letter (or better, word) translation, it will ultimately give you a lot less stumbling blocks and hurdles to overcome.
