The positioning of the ladder line will make a noticeable difference
in the way the G5RV tunes, especially on 80 meters.

So, if at all possible, raise the center up higher, even if it is only
4 or 5 more feet. The idea is to have as much of the ladder line
hanging at 90 degrees to the wires as possible.

Someone already suggested the 10 turn choke in the coax near the point
where it attaches to the ladder line. That will take care of 20 feet
or so of the coax.

Do replace those jumpers with a solid run. That will eliminate
potential mechanical and RF connection problems down the road.

Once you have the permanent coax in place, you might also try
inserting one 4 or 5 foot jumper at the operating end to see if that
will make tuning easier on portions of 40 and 80 where it would not
otherwise tune.

You are almost there, and you are already far ahead of having no
antenna at all.
