Subject: Re: Stpeech guide output on the Ts2000 and Ts480?

The 2000 really isn't that complicated to operate. The things that
don't speak beep at the bottom and top, they don't roll over, so all you
have to do is count clicks. Are we really that spoiled. I suppose I am
as well, I love the 480 and particularly the 590, but when I first got
on the air, I had a hundred kc crystal clibrator and I counted the turns
of the knob to get close. For tuning I placed a little portable broad
cast radio, found a birdie or a beat of my output and peaked for
loudest. I love all this talking stuff as much as the next person and
I'm considerably lazier, but seriously, the 2000 isn't that hard to
learn. I will say though, in my opinion, and yes I have all three, in
order of dsp technology, 2000 comes in third, 480 second and the 590 is
tops.
