Hi Everyone,

My local Wal Mart just completed a huge renovation which includes a very large fresh grocery area.  Many of you may already have this in your local Wal Mart but it is new in my area of California.

I was so surprised to find quite a few gluten free items the first time I shopped there.  Went back today and decided to look for gluten free pasta in the regular pasta section.  Lo and behold, they have a gluten free pasta brand called Heartland.  Spaghetti, Penne and Fusili....best part, $2.19 a package!!! (12 oz)  I compared the ingredients to my favorite gf pasta that I have at home (Schar) and it's almost identical.  The Heartland pasta is also a product of Italy like Schar. I was so excited, I bought 7 packages for less $$ than two packages of Schar or most other gf pasta brands.  Can't wait to try it tonight.
Yay for Wal Mart.

Just thought I would pass this info along as you all know how expensive gluten free groceries can be.

I would like to add that the packages says "processed in a facility that uses wheat, egg and soy".  My daughter is not sensitive to this so it is not a worry for us but I know it is for some.

Happy Thanksgiving.
