For one thing, you can enter CTCSS tones directly, i.e. go to the appropriate menu and just type in 1862 for a 186.2 PL tone. Also, the menu takes longer to time out, a goo 10 seconds versus about 3 for the Wouxun. The Wouxun might have slightly fuller transmit audio. Ergonomically I like the Baofeng a little better. The only advantage to the TYT is that it has a standard keypad layout, and the menus speak as you scroll through them. Well, most of them do, anyway. The important ones, like CTCSS/DCS tone settings, do not. Oh, also, the Baofeng is cheaper than the Wouxun by, well, a bunch.
