The plot thickens.  Insertion loss for the coax switch 3 watts.
Out put power on 160 meters 48 watts.
Output power on 80 meters 96 watts.
Maybe its time to make a service jumper plug and go in to the service menus. 
I wonder if they talk.  Now their are 76 of them, wouldn't that be 
interesting.  I think I'll call AES tomorrow and talk to Myles first.

I once saw an audio mod for the 480 to get more audio out of the transmitter 
by adjusting the ALC, but that seems to have disappeared.
The other thing I'd like to try is using a sound card and bypassing the 
audio constriction of the 2.4 KHZ SSB filter.  I hear that can be done.
