Hi Curtis,
There are two ways to do this.
1. You can do it on the FCC website and pay with a credit card, cost is
around $15.
2. You can pay around $40 to a service who will take care of it for you.
Let me ask you, how do you know the call is available? Just because it is
not assigned does not mean it is yet available. The call may be in the
2-year grace period.
There is a website that can tell you if a call is available and what date it
will become available if it is currently not available.
Do you have the id number required in order to do business on the FCC
website?
If you do, than there really isn't any reason you should have to pay the
additional $25 to have someone else do it for you.
Answer these questions and based on your answers, I will tell you how to
proceed.
