Hi there,
Can we stop the equal signs. I don't know what you're using for email, but you need something else.
I don't know if it's your email program, or if it's the device you're running, but it is very annoying!
You have great things to say, but I'm sick of equals signs.
Trippy

I agree a good tuner is much better tha using a trapped dipole as te =
traps not only have loss and are prone to failure, but on te higher =
bands you actually get some gain say an 80 meter dipole for example =
fed with window line not coax will show some gain in many directions =
the old saying is still true the more wire the better. just put up as =
uch wire as you can feed it with window line and use a balun and a tuner =
and go for it I use a 135 ft dipole fed 25 ft from one end with 450 =
ohm window line, and a 4 to 1 balun just outside the shack. that leads =
to my ts2000 with just enough coax to get from th ebalun to the rig in =
the shack. I can work anything i can hear and I often bust pileups. here =
in Raleigh NC I hae no trouble workign where i want to work this =
includes mobile stations on the other coast on 20 and 40 meters I have =
worked out to the west coast on 80 and on the higher bands I do well =
also. the only bands I woudl imrpove are 10 because i wish I had a beam =
and 6 same thing I'd ove a beam but other than that 100w gets me in =
  everywhere I try to work
