I understand, but I don't think this is the case in this instance because a 
friend of mine says he has also had the same type of problem with at least 
one update, and he was advised to turn it off until they fixed the problem. 
But I may try that again just to make sure.  It didn't tell me to restart 
when I tried to install them.
